Thank you for taking an interest in our “Share a Smile” card drive! We appreciate any and all help we receive.

March 20th 2025 is International Day of Happiness, and we wanted to spread a little happiness with those who might need it, by donating handmade cards to residents of care / residential homes.

So, here’s how you can participate:

• If you are a card maker, we would love to receive handmade cards, preferably that have messages to the resident written inside. We ask that you sign your card with your first name and location (eg, Jayne, Chester UK) if you place messages in your cards, but please do not include personal information such as email addresses or phone numbers.  
• Please send the card unsealed, with a coordinating envelope.
• General "thinking of you" cards are best, as you won’t know the identity of the resident who will receive your card. We are unable to send themed cards (birthday, get well, thank you etc) as we don’t have personal information about it the residents.  
• Please feel free to include a personal message, letter or note to the resident with your card.
• Please complete a submission form along with your card(s), which you can include with your card or submit online, so we know that there are cards on the way. If you include your email address / social media account on the form, we’ll send you a digital badge that you can proudly display on your social media or blog to let other people know that you have donated to our card drive!
