Hey friends! For those of you that joined us for our live with Rachel (@colourandsparkle) on Sunday, you might remember that I was playing with my Betterpress machine from Spellbinders. During the live, I created a background with a press plate, some ink blending and A LOT of glitter! Afterwards, I finished up my card, which I'm sharing with you today.
Instructions
1. Place the "Spider Web" Betterpress plate on to the Betterpress, and ink up with black ink (I used the Betterpress Black).
2. Attach an A2 panel of white card (I used the Betterpress cotton card) to the clear plate in between the A2 markers, using low tack tape.
3. Run the Betterpress through your die-cutting machine.
4. Remove the inked-up panel, and ink blend Villainous Potion distress oxide around the edges, getting lighter toward the centre. Add some Black Soot distress oxide around the edges to add depth and intensity.
5. Wait until the panel is dry (or dry with a heat tool on a low setting), then trace over the spider webs with a Quickie Glue pen. Add fine glitter over the top and tap off the excess.
6. Die cut the "Too Cute to Spook" sentiment (from Time for Tea Designs) from black card, and again from black foam. Adhere the card over the foam, and add white gel pen highlights. Glue to the centre of the card panel.
7. Die cut some ghosts and bats using the Time for Tea Designs Spooktacular die set, and adhere to the panel with foam adhesive squares. Add some eyes to the ghosts with a black pen.
