Dare we say it... the daffodils are starting to spring up, we've actually had some sightings of the sun this week... and the weather has reached double digits. Spring may finally be around the corner after a long and dreary winter, and we are so here for it!
So, this month, we thought we would celebrate with a Spring themed challenge. Anything goes - Easter cards, pastel colours, florals... choose from our colour palette or let our mood board inspire you. We can't wait to see what you create!
Challenge Inspiration
For this month's challenge, I made a card with the Spring Wreath stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped out the wreath on to an A2 card base, left the stamp in my MISTI, then stamped it again on a separate piece of card, half the width of an A2 panel, to create a matching bookmark. I coloured both wreaths so that they would match up when the bookmark was placed on top of the card. I then used vellum to create a pocket for the bookmark (I measured a piece of vellum which was 5.5" tall by 8.75" wide, scoring at 4.25", 6 3/8" and 8.5", and gluing the 1/4" section to create a pocket which wraps around the bookmark). I used tape runner to adhere the vellum to the back of my notecard, so just the pocket wrapped around to the front, displaying the bookmark (which I added a little ribbon to).
