Hello, friends, and thank you so much for stopping by today! We are excited to have another sketch challenge for you this month and we hope you’ll be able to join in the fun.
Our lovely winner from February’s challenge, Sophie Marsden, is kindly guest designing for us this month, and she has created this beautiful Mother’s Day card by ink blending a column of warm colours, to which she has added butterfly die-cuts, layered on top of acetate circles. We love this take on the sketch! Thanks so much for the inspiration, Sophie! If you like Sophie’s card, why not check out her Instagram page @craftwithsophie, where you’ll find plenty more inspiration.
And for an extra dose of inspiration, how about this shaker card? Jayne’s take on the sketch features a shaker panel with nautical windows peeking through to stencilled waves and aqua coloured sequins. The sea creatures finish off the card, along with a simple sentiment, for a clean and simple look!
Challenge rules
Here are all the rules:
- Create a card, scrapbook layout or other handmade project in line with this month’s sketch;
- Submit your entry via InLinkz, below;
- You can use any brands you love;
- Please feel free to share it on social media, too, and use the hashtag #craftandconnectchallenge - don’t forget to tag us, @craftandconnect_uk too, so that we can find it!
- Each month, the challenge will be open from the date the challenge is posted until 5pm (UK time) on the final day of the month;
- Winners will be picked at random, and will have the opportunity to guest design for a future challenge;
- Winners will receive a prize, detailed in that month’s challenge blog.
You have until 5pm BST on Wednesday 30th April 2025 to submit your project.
The prize for the winner of April’s challenge will win a £20 gift card to the Craft & Connect store, which can be redeemed against our courses and other upcoming products.
